titles are hard to come up with...
so a couple of things.
as i was walking into work this morning the sun was hitting the Museum of the Americas and it reminded me of a photo that i had. so after a little digging i found it:
seems pretty simple, but i like the coloring and shadows. actually i didn't follow the rule of thirds for this shot and it still turned out kind of interesting.
also, i passed a businessman on Virginia & 19th who had on a black power suit, a tan trench coat, and was carrying a briefcase - your typical dc outfit. what made this guy so awesome was his black baseball cap that had a large AC/DC on the front and lightning bolts on the side. i gave him a nod of my acceptance of his awesomeness, he nodded back.
hmm...what else? oh, last night after a drink or two the GOP debate made me want to write a question to pose to the candidates; it hits home a bit:
Governor So Andso - The American Red Cross is the oldest not for profit humanitarian organization in the world - and during catastrophic events like Hurricane Katrina and 9/11 has selflessly helped hundreds of thousands of Americans in their time of need. Recently a New York Times article stated that the Red Cross is operating in a 209 million dollar deficit and is slated to lay off one third of its National workforce. If you were President, how would you aid this organization in their time of need?
