hello world!

greetings and salutations,
going to have to go in list format for the readers today; i've got lots to say.
- i guess country is pretty popular nowadays; nobody really told me.
kevinkenny chesney? brooks and dunn? keith somethin or other? who knew? i think i'll buy an album or two to not feel so out of place - any recommendations? - vox wasn't blocked today; perhaps you may see more bloggings from yours truely.
- we lost in softball yesterday, which is rare for our team. the other team hit the ball very well, and we had a lot of silly mistakes so i guess the end result isn't that shocking - just a tough pill to swallow.
- i still can't listen to billy joels, pianoman.
- its almost the end of july; you read that correctly - almost the end of july. don't get me wrong - i love the fall which is right around the corner but where in the h-e-double-hockey-sticks did the summer go? *sigh*
- still very fired up for the olympics this august. i watched this marathon series on the Olympic channel breaking down all the events and what to watch heres a little break down:
- Jeremy Wariner - aka the great white hope, lol. his coach is michael johnson and is looking to win the 200meter and 400meter; he's 24 and runs for Baylor Univ.
- Tyson Gay - running the 100 meter and looking to shatter the world and olympic record although hes had a nagging hamstring injury this summer.
- Beach Volleyball - both mens and womens will be fun to watch. USA has dominated for the last 20 years but recently other countries have really caught onto the sport and will be seriously challenging the US.
- Phelps - winning something like 7 gold medals will be more medals than any human to ever compete in the olympics. USA swimming is projected to dominate almost every event.
- Chicks gymnastics - i dont know, its a little creepy but i do know that they keep losing to china over the past few years and that it would be pretty crazy for them to beat 'em in Beijing.
- USA Basketball - the best athletes in the world on one team seems like a shoe win right? well, usa hasn't won in a minute, me thinks too many egos we'll see what happens this year.
7. it's hot out but i can't complain. i think back to january and february and bundling up to walk the dog and how bad it stunk.
8. i dont like shania twain.
9. feel free to watch B@tman, D@rk Night for free here (update: i guess the link may or may not have viruses, or something)
10. $93.00 dollars to fill up my car yesterday; sad. my next car:
11. read an article in the ny times that said dumping water on your head while working out in the sun actually increases your body temperature. the water blocks the pours which actually won't let your body sweat which, in turn, raises your core temperature.
12. speaking of which - i get back into the pool tonight after taking about a month and a half off - pretty excited.
okay i'm running out of things to say; if someone could win the lottery and take care of me, i'd appreciate it. thanks.
